Pre-Trial Conference

Pre-Trial Conference: A meeting between the plaintiff's lawyer, the defendant's lawyer and a Superior Court of Justice judge to determine whether the claim can be resolved without a trial. If there is no resolution at the end of this meeting, the facts and interests discussed will be used to narrow down the trial's main issues prior to the trial date.
