Attorney General

Attorney General: Main legal advisor to the government, and in some jurisdictions he or she may also have executive responsibility for law enforcement or responsibility for public prosecutions; an elected member of the legislature and a member of the cabinet who is the chief law officer of the Crown responsible for the proper administration of justice in the Province. In the federal sphere, the Minister of Justice fills this role as Attorney General of Canada.
